Start or Update Water Service
To start or update water service, please contact the District office. A water service contract, proof of residency, and property owner authorization may be required.
For new service installation, the customer may be required to prepay the estimated cost of installation. Installation charges may include the District’s cost plus an administrative charge
Customers may be asked to provide:
Service address
Customer name and contact information
Proof of residency or property ownership
Property owner authorization, if applicable
Signed water service agreement
Payment for required deposits, fees, or installation costs
Billing and Payments
Customers may pay their water bill online, in person, or by other accepted payment methods provided by the District.
The District accepts cash, checks, and credit card payments for water bills. American Express is not accepted. Credit and debit card payments may include a processing fee.
Leaks and Water Emergencies
If you see a water leak, mainline break, service outage, or other water emergency, please contact the District as soon as possible.

Customer-Side Leaks
Customers are responsible for water lines and plumbing on their side of the meter. If your meter is turning and you believe no water is being used, you may have a leak that needs to be repaired.
The District is responsible for water lines from the street to the meter. Customer-owned plumbing beyond the meter is the customer’s responsibility.
Water Service Shutoff Information
Rand Communities Water District provides customer notices and information related to nonpayment, service interruption, and water service shutoff procedures.
Customers who are having difficulty paying their bill should contact the District office as soon as possible to discuss available options.
Customer Assistance Programs
Customer assistance programs may be available for eligible households through state, county, or community programs.
If assistance information is available, the District may post program details, event notices, or application resources here.
Holidays and Office Closures
The District office is closed Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Monday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
